Donate your old books to benefit one of our charity partners
If you have books on your shelves that are really just gathering dust or taking up space, why not consider donating them to one of our Charity Partners? You could make a real difference by giving up something you perhaps don't even care for so much anymore.
Books4Change will sell your donated books on behalf of the charity of your choice. The charity you elect will benefit directly from your donation, receiving proceeds for sales made on Books4Change. This provides an additional, effortless source of income for the charities - allowing them to concentrate on what they do best, whether it be caring for children, animals, the elderly, the sick or the environment.

How it works:
- Gather the books you wish to donate. We will accept books in any genre, no matter their age - just as long as they are still in a good condition. Unfortunately we can't accept any Encyclopaedia sets, Reader's Digest Condensed readers or other book club editions, text books and computer manuals that are older than 5 years - simply because they don't sell. - You can either physically bring the books to us (call ahead to let us know) or send them to us packaged securely in a sturdy cardboard box. Our address for postal deliveries is Books4Change, PO Box 773, Strand, 7139. Please contact us for physical deliveries.
- Make sure to mark your donation clearly with the name of the charity you wish to donate to (see a list of charities here) and don't forget to include your name, address and telephone number.
If you have more than 50 quality books to donate, we will collect them from you if you live within a 60km radius from the Strand.
